Upon opening the tin, I was met with a refined share of green - vibrant yet naturally balanced, exuding an inviting brilliance. The aroma was instantly captivating, carrying a sweet, nutty fragrance that hinted at the depth of flavour to come.
The finely milled powder whisked effortlessly, yielding a really smooth sip. As an usucha, Anya Matcha's Yame matcha presented a mid-bodied experience with minimal bitterness, allowing it's inherent sweetness to shine. The texture when whisked further with the chasen, was rich, creamy and foamy.

I was a little skeptical when I first read that it was creamy and nutty - they proved me wrong it's so delicious and yes there are times when I can smell a hint of popcorn. The most beautiful green too!

This matcha powder has a smooth, clean taste with a subtle nutty note that’s really pleasant. It blends easily and adds a nice depth to lattes, smoothies, or even baked goods.
this matcha is great - has an amazing flavour profile and the matcha is a vibrant green :) however i do have to note that it does not dissolve as easily as other brands and requires extra whisking and care so you don’t have the grainy aftertaste in your drink. other than that one issue i would repurchase again <3
