We source our matcha directly from farms in Yame, working closely to bring the freshest matcha from Japan. Yame, in southern Fukuoka, is a mountainous region celebrated for Japan’s most award-winning teas, including Gyokuro. Its high elevation and misty valleys nurture tea leaves with exceptional sweetness and balance.

They’re both different, but equally beautiful! Yame (Blue Tins) is nutty, buttery, and has a popcorn-like finish, while Uji (Green Tins) is richer in umami with a more aromatic profile.
Think of Yame as slightly sweeter, and Uji as a little more savoury. -
