Very smooth, and umami in my opinion. Works well for matcha latte.
I want to start off by saying how amazing this matcha is.. it’s so delectable, creamy, buttery, silky and smooth on the tongue! You really don’t need to put any sweetener in this matcha because it’s already naturally sweetened. I started off with the 30g can and I was amazed how accurate the tasting notes are, so I bought the 100g bag and it’s almost finished! I will be purchasing again if they’re not sold out [praying it doesn’t].
I also love how they put the cutest stickers in the package, it’s my favourite highlight of the package! Live laugh love anya matcha. <3

this. This matcha right here is sincerely *the* BEST matcha I’ve ever tasted in my life!! And rightfully so as I do prefer my matcha more on the sweeter side rather than bitter. But my goodness. I did not know that I would also become a such a huge fan of its butteriness, its nuttiness and its creaminess (especially when paired with oat milk, it makes such a delectable combination!!) It is sincerely such a fantastic matcha - words do not even begin to describe.
I drank 3 oat milk matcha lattes with this Usagi blend in the span of 6 hours as to carry me through making last minute presentations and final exams. I forever credit my good marks for those particular assessments to this matcha 🫡🫡🫡 Thank you AnyaMatcha! Packaging is cute, the sweet messages from the owners are cute - I’ve saved them all in my scrapbook!
I’ve had my fair share of chasen’s and I just love how perfect this 80 prong chasen is, so easy to bloom, look after, clean and it makes the best frothy, creamy matcha microfoam!
I’ve tried so many well known and independent matcha, and with miles’ Anya matcha is my absolute favourite.
Packaging is so cute, I love the tin and the brown shade that compliments to the houjicha powder.
The taste is so delicious and I enjoy it just as much as I enjoy matcha!!! It's warm and nutty; it has a very roasted earthy taste. You will enjoy it if you can appreciate the roasty nut flavour. Thank you Anya once again for supplying us with great matcha and houjicha! <3
The Yame Saemodori is my fave. I guessed I prefer a little umami in my matcha. Refreshing!!
So far enjoying this quality matcha ! I have been ordering different type since and they are all yummy. Also, appreciate delivery took less than 7 days. Products arrived in safe packing.
Not my favourite, its quite bitter, astringent and chalky. The powder is also a bit coarse so harder to dissolve but overall it’s not bad, there’s just others I prefer.

A little pricey, but totally worth it! The moment I opened the packet, that first whiff of matcha smelled absolutely amazing, it’s so fresh and rich. The taste is smooth, buttery, and slightly sweet with no bitterness at all. One of the best ceremonial matchas I’ve ever tried!
After a lot of research, I decided to order Yame matcha—and I’m so glad I did. It’s incredibly smooth and high-quality, with a rich, buttery, and nutty flavor. I absolutely love the flavor profile, and it’s so easy to prepare at home. Unlike other matcha I’ve tried, it’s not grainy at all.
It is so vibrant green! And it tastes yummy, highly recommend :)
