Creamy and delicious. Great if you’re new to drinking matcha as it has a subtle sweetness about it. Perfect for hot and cold but I’ve been loving a hot latte for these cold mornings mixed with almond milk. I don’t typically add any sweeteners but tried it with a hint of maple the other day and it was delicious and thought it brought out the buttery tasting notes even more. This option is great dollar wise too for drinking matcha everyday.
Vibrant green, sweet nutty aroma, and a silky smooth sip. As a usucha, it's mid-bodied with minimal bitterness and a naturally sweet finish -- rich and creamy when whisked up properly.
Approachable enough for beginners, enjoyable enough for regulars. A solid tin (which also happens to be reeeeally cute).
So smooth and velvety! Delicious taste that is subtle but rich at the same time. I am in love with Anya <3
Love the taste of this matcha. It’s sweet and smooth. Never been disappointed with Anya matcha
Glorious matcha powder, rich and green. Lovely balance of umami and sweetness. Whisks up so smoothly with a beautiful microfoam. I will definitely repurchase!
packaging was so cute and loved the taste. tastes better when made as an iced strawberry matcha in my opinion. sweet and easy to drink
I personally love to collect matchas to suit my every desire, as I really like a lot of different flavours and will pick my matcha depending on my mood. When I fancy something nutty, roasty and toasty; hell, this is the ONE. Tanuki is a 10/10 and is incomparable to every other “nutty” flavoured matcha I’ve ever tried. With Miles is truly my most favourite matcha brand ❤️
Very nutty from the moment you open it, smooth on the palate, and no bitterness aftertaste. The smell is just heavenly, nothing seaweed-y. Just delicious.
I have never really been a fan of matcha as my experiences haven't been all that amazing. However, this Usagi matcha has seriously changed my mind. It tastes wonderful and is quite smooth. But I am no expert... I'm only just starting to understand what the matcha experience is supposed to be like :3 I have bought the okumidori one now and will be trying it tomorrow.
You can really taste the hint of hazelnut notes on its own. Performs well in an iced latte.
I feel that with all the matcha brands out there it’s super hard to filter out the Matcha that tastes legitimately like the ones at home in Japan. I’ve tried a variety from Anya and this one is my fave but all are genuine in taste.
Very smooth entry level matcha if you’re just starting out. Light and easy to drink.
So far I’ve tried the Yame and Kitsune matchas and both are excellent but the Kitsune is definitely my favourite. It’s bolder and more umami than Yame which is exactly what I like. Next up I think I’ll give one of their single cultivars a go. Love supporting a small Aussie business and the branding is on point!
This powder is the best entry level (or daily) matcha! It is an easy crowd pleaser. No sweeter required, it creates a smooth rich taste. I like my matcha strong with ice and milk, and this is the perfect powder for it! YES! I mean LOOK at the colour!
