A special release blends from this year 2025 harvest, this small-batch blend of Okumidori, Saemidori, and Yabukita comes from the misty hills of Yame, Fukuoka. Smooth and well-rounded, it offers a rich, layered flavour—chocolatey, buttery, and gently sweet, with an aftertaste of cashew nuts and no trace of astringency.

Crafted exclusively from the first flush, this matcha delivers not just sweetness, but depth and nuance. The symbol for this blend is the Usagi, representing softness, grace, and quiet good fortune. Said to dwell on the moon in Japanese folklore, the Usagi felt like the perfect emblem for this limited Yame release—known for its gentle richness and smooth personality.

Each matcha packs includes a matching Usagi sticker and tasting notes card, inviting you to sip, learn, and savour the story behind the blend.

My first time trying Yame matcha and I love it! It’s bold, a beautiful green colour and is very umami, much more savoury than most matchas I’ve tried. I enjoy it the most as an iced latte with maple syrup! Sad that it’s a limited edition.

Anya nails it again

I got my hands on this limited matcha and as always it is such a great and unique blend.
The matcha has a chocolatey and nutty taste it
no astringency or bitter aftertaste
It is above medium bodied but below full bodied matcha so somewhat between medium to full bodied
I used 4g to 40 ml water and 120 ml of oat milk and i think this does get you a very good flavour.
I am biased towards their yame ceremonial matcha it is very similar to it in terms of the nutty flavour. If you like that you will love this blend as well🫶🏻🥰
