Crafted from Okumidori, Saemidori, and Yabukita cultivars, it is smooth and well-rounded with a rich, layered flavour - chocolatey, buttery, and naturally sweet, with no added sweetener. Expect a clean cashew-like finish and no astringency. Made exclusively from the first flush, this matcha delivers not only sweetness but also depth and nuance. Its symbol, the Usagi, represents softness, grace, and quiet good fortune. In Japanese folklore, the moon-dwelling Usagi felt like the perfect emblem for this limited Yame release - known for its gentle richness and smooth personality.

Love the packaging, love the matcha. It’s one of the smoothest matcha I’ve ever had. Great to have with and without milk.
I notice a stone fruit after taste when drinking it without milk. Easily one of my favourite matcha ! I’ll definitely repurchase.
