You can tell the care that's been put into making this bowl. It's simple yet elegant and serves its purpose well. The bowl is big enough to move the chasen around comfortably. I particularly like that it has a spout for easy pouring.

I’ve always loved matcha but have never really thought about the different notes that are in them. I do know a good matcha when I drink it - this one tasted subtle and smooth. I liked that it didn’t have a bitter aftertaste to it. I loooved the green and it definitely had a sweet and nutty smell to it. Paired really well with the black sesame syrup (current obsession) i made at home!
